OUR MISSION
Americans for Palestinian Orphans (APO) is dedicated to addressing the urgent needs of Gaza’s youngest orphaned children, aged 0-13, by providing critical support and fostering resilience. Our mission is to raise awareness about the severe conditions these children face and educate Americans on their plight, while building essential support systems to ensure their well-being and future success.
In Gaza, a region marked by prolonged conflict and hardship, orphans are among the most vulnerable. These children, each with their own potential and needs, deserve not only compassion but also effective, tangible support. APO is committed to providing them with the resources necessary to thrive despite their challenging circumstances.
Our core goals are:
Raise Awareness: Illuminate the harsh realities facing Gaza’s youngest orphans to foster a deeper understanding and inspire action among supporters.
Advocate for Support: Through outreach and advocacy, we ensure that these children receive essential resources, including daily necessities, educational assistance, and access to social services.
Build Support Systems: Create and maintain programs that promote the well-being and self-sufficiency of orphaned children, breaking the cycle of loneliness and dependence and fostering their growth and productivity.
Protect and Empower: Provide a safe and nurturing environment to help orphans avoid negative influences and develop into resilient, well-functioning individuals.
Engage and Unite: Invite support from individuals, communities, and organizations across the American spectrum, regardless of political beliefs, to collectively improve the lives of Gaza’s orphans.
